Many medical students choose to remain in Bard Hall for their second year. To secure a room in URH for the upcoming academic year you must participate in Room Renewal. This process provides current Bard Hall residents with the opportunity to either “retain” or stay in their current room or “select another room for the upcoming academic year.” Students who were unsuccessful in the Lottery and elect to return to Bard Hall for their second year are given priority in next year’s Lottery. A mini Lottery is held for these individuals prior to the commencement of the Lottery. Students may select any current Bard Hall resident to become a member of their Apartment Draw Group.
